Food Lion is a great grocery store. It seems to be really clean and has somewhat reasonable prices. The customer service is quite good. I will more than likely shop there again. The only drawback is that, it's located further out of the city limits than most of our other grocery stores. I have to drive a good distance to get there.
I rarely shop at food lion but when I do the employees are just the most amazing people...could not ask for a better place to shop at (: thanks guys.

First visit to food lion, and I found a great many things that I haven't seen at other stores. Nice layout. Very clean store. I will definitely be going back.
I ride a motorcycle and bring a backpack to put my groceries in after checkout. Everytime I walk in I get dirty looks from the all female management like I'm about to steal something. I've even been followed by a mystery shopper that literally watched my every move around the store. I used to work at a Kroger so I realize theft is always high in grocery stores but I don't appreciate being treated like a thief everytime I walk through the doors. I've been shopping here for two years. When will you recognize that I'm paying customer? After the third year perhaps? Sometimes I like to cash my credit card rewards check here for convenience. I've had the managers tell me they didn't cash checks, they've told me that they didn't have any cash once, and generally always make it difficult to fulfill their duties as described on the wall. I'm just gonna ride another mile up 81 to one of the other two grocery stores from now on. Great job.
