Ulta ended up filing a claim through their liability insurance.
For the sake of your hair: stay the hell away.
My wife went to Ulta for a color job. Within 2 weeks the Redken color had faded and her grey was back. Ulta needs to go back or start having the stylist dress more "professional". My wife complained of how some of the stylist looked like they just crawled out of bed, with crayone colored hair and tats all over...disgusting....clean it up Ulta, you want get our money anymore......
The salon has many services. Molly is amazing. She is my hair angel.
I went to get my hair done with Julio at the salon in Anderson, SC on August 24, 2017. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he said "I can do that for you no problem." He ended up leaving bleach in my hair for at least an hour and forty minutes. I would later find out from his coworkers that he left the bleach in twice the maximum time allowed by the manufacturer, which says only 50 minutes max. My hair was destroyed. He took my natural base of 4 to a 12 on its second time being bleached. It has been falling out in clumps. I asked for a soft ombre with a natural blend, but he decided to give me straight lines through my hair.
The store is nice and has a lot of great products. I do want to add one thing that ruined my experience. While I was looking for a cheap foundation brush... a woman who worked there was like following me around. She kept watching me like i was going to steal something. I'm not sure if it's cuz I wore a big sweat shirt... or the fact that I only had foundation on. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I will not be going back anytime soon.

I had to go to another salon to get my hair fixed. This salon says that they have had 4 clients come in the last month for color corrections from Ulta--specifically, victims of Julio.
Doing a bit of research, I discovered that Julio has been working at this salon location for longer than he has had a legal license to practice cosmetology in South Carolina.
I managed to get a refund from the store uncontested, but still have over a foot of hair missing from my hair that originally went down to my butt directly because of Julio's negligence.
I really like the store! The employees are great too! However, some of the items are a bit pricy.
