We have two choices for movie theaters in Anderson. As a cwp holder this is where I go since they haven't thus far stripped me of my right to defend myself in their establishment. The place is clean and comfortable and the people are helpful. I will complain however that the price of tickets and concessions is ridiculous. To be fair I will say that all theaters are about the same in this regard. Good thing there's not much material coming out of Hollywood that I care to see.
The best part is they offer fountain drinks so you can save money. I'm giving it 3 stars because the last time I went I got food poisoning. Skip the nachos. The theater is the best in the area with it's stadium seating configuration.
Went to watch Star Wars The Last Jedi tonight! 12-17-17.. It was great not to busy for the 3D film, wouldn't recommend watching it in 3D to anyone. Save your money on the regular. But great service! And surprisingly super clean seats floors and bathrooms! Good job AmStar! Only thing I think the theater needs is maybe 1 or 2 more coke machines, and the prices at concessions.... Very slow there but still great! :)
We love AmStar Cinemas. We can.go ever week. And be sure to try chicken strips and some pecans. So hopefully there is something showing for these oldies. We love it.
My daughter in law was made to leave after my son paid for the entire family to see a movie. It was all because of a selfish man who complained about the baby making noise. He wasn't even crying. There were dozens of other seats this grown man could have moved to. We should have received a full refund. It is wrong that there are no refunds when the movies cost this much. It took my son's entire paycheck for this gift. Our family struggles and we have very little. We were mistreated and ripped off.
