I have purchased from Ashley's Furniture twice and each time, I've had an issue with delivery. The first time I purchased a queen size bed with dresser mirror and night stand. I was given an expected delivery date and the day before delivery, I got a confirmation and estimated time of delivery. The delivery came 2 hours earlier than expected which I was okay with and was not a big deal. Upon delivery, the delivery guy stated that my nightstand was damaged, and that I would receive a call from customer service with a new delivery date for that piece. When I got the call, I was told that it would be another 3 weeks before I could get my night stand. To me 3 weeks was too long for just one small piece of furniture but I was okay for the time being. Then I purchased a dining room table with 4 chairs. I scheduled a delivery date of August 25 at the store. On Aug 24, I realized that I hadn't received a phone call, voicemail, or email confirmation for delivery. I called customer service on August 25 telling them that I never received a confirmation for my delivery. She then tells me that the date that was scheduled was only an estimate and was not guaranteed. And that my delivery had actually been moved to August 30. I told her that I had not received any phone call stating that the delivery would be changed. She said that they will only call you 2 days prior to let you know about the change, meaning that they wouldn't call to let me know until August 28. This is very inconvenient because I work full time during the day and I'm not home to receive my delivery. So when I schedule a delivery, I schedule it on a day when I am off. And I am not available on the day that they scheduled without asking me. And the next available day that I would be able to receive it was September 9. So my delivery date went from August 25 to September 9. I asked if there was any kind of discount or anyone who I could complain to about this situation. She basically said that technically there would be no kind of discount because they haven't done anything wrong and because the date was only an estimate. I love their furniture but the delivery service is awful and I will not be buying anything from them unless I can pick it up from the store myself.

Sales rep was very nice even though I didn't buy anything while I was there, needed to review my findings with my husband. The sales rep was even intuned enough too try and make everything fit in my budget and showed me different options.
Purchased an adjustable base with the understanding if it did not work well for the party it could be returned. NOT. Found out after the sale that any bed furniture is considered FINAL SALE items. Cannot be returned. Now stuck with something that makes the sleeping more difficult. Got this from the Anderson, sc store. Sales person, April, and former mgr, brea out and out lied to me. Not a good way to run a business. Make sure you read all the terms before you sign. Don't believe what they tell you in person.
The get you to purchase a warranty, not telling the details behind it... I was talked into purchasing a warranty that doesn't cover anything that they said .. nor was it in ANY of my paperwork !! Be careful & ask a lot of questions.. JOHN was my salesperson ... BAD BUSINESS
